Polly and George wanted the best of wedding photography for their relaxed winter wedding special.
I love photographing weddings generally but my style of reportage photography really lends it self so much more to the winter wedding. To me there is just something very relaxed and very romantic about getting married in the midst of winter, I don’t know if it’s the candle light church or the idea of snow on the ground or the sound of an open fire that does it.
Well Polly and George really did their big day in style, Black Tie and Ball gowns was the dress code for the day A candle light church, classic 1923 Bentley wedding car and old manor house with its oldie world charm made for the perfect setting.
Photographically speaking the light of course was a bit tricky, dark oak panels and blazing fires give a massive contrast range, not to mention the infra red heaters in the church turning everyone a glowing shade of red.
Well I hope you enjoy it.
